About Scott

Diving since 1982, Scott Evans literally grew up in the family business, he began filling tanks before he could drive a car. Scott’s background includes logging over 4000 dives, training well over 1,000 students, owned and operating one of the East Coast’s most successful dive centers. In addition, he has worked as a Commercial Diver and a marketing consultant for dive retailers.

In 1992, he received his BS from Radford University and qualified as a scuba instructor. In 1997 he purchased the family dive business and went on to create one of the largest dive retail stores in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Scott is an Instructor Trainer for multiple agencies and a Technical Diving Workshop Director. Additionally, he holds instructor certifications as a PADI Master Instructor, Handicapped Scuba Association Instructor, TDI/SDI and DAN Oxygen Provider instructor.

Scott is also an Association of Diving Contractors Surface Supplied Commercial Diver and Diving Medical Technician (DMT) and working towards completion as a Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT).
